Name; Beaver Lake Campground, 133 Kneeology Way, Quincy FL.
Date ;4/9/2013
Staff /owner; Just ok, very broken English, hard to understand.
Price; $20.00 cash, with Passport America
Site Description; Level site on grass. Very large area to maneuver. Full hook ups w/50 amp electric, side by side hook ups. Your door faces your neighbors door, close, on the other side we maybe had 5 feet between our slides outs. No privacy. Our site seemed a little bigger the some of the others.
We are in the middle.
Big Rig Friendly; Yes a very large area to turn etc. Just no room between sites.
Amenities; none other them laundry
Laundry; Yes,but we wouldn't use, let the photo speak for itself.
Phone/Wifi/TV; no wifi, we used our satellite, had a good Verizon signal.
Dog Friendly; Yes, acres to walk a dog.
Night; Low light but adequate. Road noise from I 10.
Opinion; Good overnight stop, as it is about a quarter mile off I 10. I wanted to check out the restrooms and they were locked. So I walked about 100 yards to the office to see why. Not sure why, but they will give you a key that you must bring back. So not sure if you want to use them in the middle of the night, what would you do? I couldn't get any good answers, as there was a language barrier, I did get-"you have hook up, why need". They do have a sign stating "clean restrooms", but couldn't check them out. If traveling along I 10 in the future and it was time to pull in for the night, we would stop here. It is safer then a Walmart or rest stop for the night.
