Kenai Princess Lodge & RV PK

This is a great little park in Cooper Landing AK. Full hook up sites with cable . You can use the Lodge for wifi and the hot tub and restaurant. They have wifi in the RV park but it I believe $5. a day. We would go site in the beautiful lobby of the Lodge and use the wifi there. $32.45 night. This park fills up almost every night and its about 2.5 miles off main road, so reservations or a call ahead of time would be wise. The time we were there was during the height of the Salmon run.

Williwaw Forest Service-Portage AK

A super park. $9. night with golden age pass. No hook ups. Wide Paved roads and sites. We had a very long pull thru. Super views on all sides. A super park, we were going to stay 2 nights and stayed a week it was so nice. They are water hand pumps but no dump. Great views on all sides. The tunnel to Whitter is about 3 miles from here.

Bird Creek Chugach ST PK

About 25 miles south of Anchorage on the Seward Hwy. $10 night no hook ups. Nice setting but the road in the campground is a narrow one way road. It had pot holes 3-4 feet across and 4 to 8 inches deep. There where many trees that were cut down just laying around. There also was bear activity every day. We were told by a worker in the park that it was do for a make over. I would not stay here again without checking it out to see if repairs where made.

Denali RV P & Motel

About 6 miles from Denali in Healy AK. $35.31 for full hookup, wifi and cable. Wifi was fair to good at our site. Our site was a little short, so we had to park either in site behind us(when no one there) or across the road by the motel. The staff was very very helpful. Next time we would stay in Denali itself.
