Trip from Randle WA to Chimacum WA, 2017

   We left Randle WA heading for The Escapees  Evergreen Coho RV Park in Chimacum  WA.. We had been here before and liked the location. We arrived while the office was closed for lunch. This is a member only park. We unhooked our car and while doing so a gentleman came over and asked if we know what site we were assigned to. We said no, and he said all sites were full. Did we have a reservation? Yes, good thing we made a reservation. Shorty thereafter the office opened and we received our site number. The week we were there all short time sites were full. I believe the month or longer sites had openings. See park review in  next post.
      Back to the trip from Randle. We traveled along some narrow secondary roads with beautiful scenery. Only minus was  huge log trucks that didn't even slow down.

     After some miles we start to see  some small towns, then more traffic as we approach the city of Tacoma. We cross an area called "The Narrows". Now we are on the western side of Puget Sound .The traffic starts to thin out a little and we can enjoy the beautiful area. We then cross the Hood Canal.

The last leg of our western trip of 2017, Branson MO to FL

  The final leg of our journey from the Oregon Coast to our home in Florida. We arrive in Branson MO at the Escapees Turkey Creek RV Park to meet up with friends and for the final leg of our 2017 home. We will travel the last 1000 miles or so with Lance and Andrea, the couple that bought our other home here in Florida. Imagine they are still friends, I guess they liked the deal. But in all fairness, they were friends before the "deal". We made three overnight stops to our homes. Follow along.

Many times Linda misses what we think would be a good photo just waiting for the camera to come on and focus. Our site at Tallahassee RV Park. FHU pullthrus, $50. a night, 10% Good Sam discount. Location, location, I guess. A little expensive for a one night stop.. Last stop before home. We also traveled farther then we liked and it was getting late.

Branch's and leafs litter our deck. The trees are almost stripped bear of leafs.

This is were our dock used to be. There were 3 pilings.

Our car port took the worst hit. Lucky the car was ok, but the cover was torn a bit.
