Hi everyone, hope all is well with you. We are still at Anastasia State Park. Someone cancelled coming to volunteer and we were asked to stay another month. So we said yes. We do like the beach and the area so we are happy to stay another month. This is a really nice area that we are enjoying. Finally we got out of the 90's.v Down into the 70's 80's. with low's in the 50's & 60's. From about 10 degrees above normal to 10 degrees below normal. Sept was unusually hot, this area had 93 days with temps above 90 degrees in a row.
While here Linda celebrated another birthday. We did go out to dinner with two of the new couples who came in next to us. We had a couple of camp fires now that it is cooling off. We will be spending more time going to the beach and kayaking, and just relaxing since we did tour a lot of the area already.
We had some questions about RV parks we stayed at, so we will try to include information about the parks we stayed at. We will label them as RV Parks so you can find them under that label on the far right of our Blog. We will try to include a few photo's and some info about the park.
Someone told us about "bookcrossing", and how much fun it was. Since we read about 3-4 books a week(Linda 3.5-Bob.5) we decided to give it try. Go to http://www.bookcrossing.com/ to learn more. We do exchange books all over were we travel so it will be interesting to see were they travel to.
