Friends here at the park invited us to go with them to a flower garden and pond tour in the area. It was a bright sunny hot and humid day. But it was still a wonderful day. Some of the gardens and pond gardens with fish were wonderful to tour. Thanks to the nice people that opened their yards to the public for the day. In all there were 15 gardens to tour. We made it to only 5. We needed a second day. Florida flowers are so different from the gardens we are use to seeing in the north. The flowers are beautiful and the ponds with their flowers and fish are wonderful. Linda took soooo many pictures we had to pick a few and make collages. We are way behind on our blogging. This tour was about a month ago.
No longer do you have to sit through a 2 hour slide show of our travels, just click on our blog and look for updates. I'll try to keep them short. Thanks for following along, and keep in touch.

Interior pictures of new motor home + we are listed on Hopperblog.com
Our blog was recently featured on the www.hopperblog.com web site. It was listed under North America, Indiana, history. It is a very interesting web site to research travel any where in the world. Not sure how we were chosen to be listed. We received an email from the site telling us we had been listed.
After looking at the web site I realized how travel is our passion. Hope we can get on the road this week.
The following picture is one thing that helped me sit in one place so long.
I caught this on my ultra lite outfit off our dock. Quit a fight on my ultra light outfit and a big thrill for me. The fish was returned to the lake unharmed other than being embarrassed for falling for my 2.5 inch twister tail. Just came in at dusk from fishing out on the lake and tried a few cast from our dock. And low and behold the biggest fish to date. I caught a lot of smaller bass, mostly from out on the lake. On the left you can just see the tip of my boat, and aside of me the ultra light outfit that won the battle.
Here are some pictures of the interior of our new RV.

Exterior TV. Came already installed. I may remove and put it in the house.

ITS OFFICIAL, and new RV
First let me start off with telling you all that Linda and I became Florida residents. And second here is our first selfie photo.
Third, As I said in the passed our home in Florida is our home base as we still intend to travel. As many of you noted in our last blog we said we would be on the road in about two weeks. We received some emails asking if we will be using our 5th wheel or did we sell it and get something new. The answer to that question is we traded the 5th wheel and purchased a 2015 Four Winds class C motor home built by Thor. We took delivery of the class C on Friday the 30th.
In front of our home, didn't open the road side slide as it stuck out into the road
From the home side looking out
I know I'll have to eat a lot of crow from my Ford friends, as it is built on a ford chassis.
We will be towing our HHR behind the motor home. We now have appointment for the 12th of June for the installation of the towing hitch and base plate on the HHR. Hopefully a day or two after that we hope to be on the road. Our travel plans are still in the planning stage. We will keep you posted. Also we will post photo's of the interior, but I lost the file somewhere on the computer
