Northland Camping and R V Park, 6377 E. state RD 13, South Range WI.
Stayed for just an overnight
Very friendly owner
$30 a night, no discounts of any kind.
We had a pull thru full hook up w/50amp electric. Our site was on gravel. Roads are gravel.
Big rig friendly. Many pull thru sites. We had a very long site and didn't unhook the truck as this was just an overnight stop. Some sites are close. Very busy when we were there in June, lucky to get a site.
Amenities include a pool, hot tub, and trails.
There is a laundry, didn't check it out.
We had 4 bars on our Verizon phone,. Not sure if they had Wifi. Over the air TV was good, all major networks. Didn't try to set up satellite. Trees, could be a problem in some sites.
Dog friendly, lots of room to walk a dog.
Very dark at night, a little road noise.
Reason we stopped, it was just off route 2 along the route we were taking. This would be a good park to tour this area of Lake Superior and the Duluth area.
We would stay here again to tour the area.
We had one of the most spacious sites.
